Wild at Heart Party Boosts Habitat and Education at Birmingham Zoo

Stepping through the gates of Birmingham Zoo, guests experience an immersive exhibit featuring 550 animals from six continents and installations resembling Asia, Africa, South America and more.

How is this possible?

Through community and state support, zoos can provide visitors with educational opportunities and memories of a lifetime. General admission and memberships are part of the equation, but what really helps is selling tickets to zoo parties and fundraisers. That’s why everyone is invited to Birmingham’s biggest new explosion, Wild at Heart. September 8, 6:30-10:00 pm

“Wild at Heart will be a night to remember for our city,” said honorary president Nancy Gaedecke. “Events like this are essential for zoos to keep their gates open. It also helps to continue conservation and community work, ensuring the zoo remains an influential resource and a delightful destination for generations to come!”

With animal encounters, delicious food, an open bar, and music from the Yacht Rock Schooner, it’s an event not to be missed, says Goedecke. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their best “Wild Chic” outfits to bring out their inner animal. Go casual or formal with your favorite feathers, stripes, spots and scales.
